BOOTSIE - EXPERT IN CUTENESS

1.5 years old, spayed female, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed

Boots as we call her is full of character and cheek! She gets away with almost anything in her foster home down to her beady round eyes. If you want snuggles and gentle hand kisses, then look no further for your furbaby – she will be one lucky kitty to show off her fruity character!

Boots was surrendered by her previous owner due to a change in circumstances, unfortunately, she was carrying 3 dead kittens inside of her at the time too, which required emergency surgery as soon as she was handed over to us. This saved her life and is now looking forward to being in a home that will never turn their back on her again.

Bootsie isn’t shy of new people and will be curious when meeting new people. She would be suited to a quiet home and without children. She’s full of love and purrs to her humans. She loves to play with just about anything and spends most of her day looking out the window, waiting for the birds to sit on the patio outside so she can chirp and chatter at them, her favourite channel on YouTube is Cat TV.

She likes to cuddle up with her humans and wants to be petted and stroked, she will lick your hands in appreciation for being kind to her. She’s a low maintenance cat who likes to laze around with the occasional zoomies, but overall a very easy-going cat. She tolerates being picked up but jumps out of your arms after a few minutes. She makes a perfect snuggle buddy at bedtime and sleeps through the night. She is fully housetrained and indoors only.

The ideal home will be prepared to accept that she is going to be the boss and have you wrapped around her little paw-bean. A single person, a couple with no children or flown the nest would be great for Bootsie as she needs a calm and quiet environment and someone who will spoil her, giving her the best life.

Other cats: She is in a foster home with two cats, one with who she has teamed up, but the other one who is the alpha, seems to scare her causing some fighting and chasing around the house. The ideal home will not have other cats or have a cat of a beta personality as we have established, she is an alpha-female who needs to be the boss.

Children: She wouldn’t be tolerant of children that are expecting too much interaction. Older teenage children would be fine, who are more understanding of boundaries with pets.

Dogs: We have never seen her with dogs, but we imagine Bootsie might not be too welcoming.

Indoor/Outdoor: Boots is an indoor cat and would need to remain this way. Unless there is a safe catio she can explore.

Health: Vaccinated, spayed, dewormed and FIV/FeLV negative. She is 1.5 years old.
