Sweetie is a social kitty who will follow you around while you go about your day and make sure you are getting it right…whatever it is you are doing. She is a polite and tidy little lady who will manage to get in a cuddle with you at any given moment, making her the perfect WFH buddy. She will certainly put on a little show to guests as well and is confident in approaching new people when she meets them. She would do well in a fun and happy home who like to interact with her with playtime or just a chat, and you will know when she’s had enough as she will take herself away to her favourite napping spot for some downtime.

 

Sweetie has a curious personality and will be sure to make herself familiar with her surroundings and explore every part of the house. She would require a home that can provide her with adequate toys and scratch posts. She has never ruined any furniture and knows she has her scratch post for her sharpies! She’s fine to be left alone at home during work hours as her current guardian is working full-time hours and is always waiting by the door to greet her hooman when they return from work. The only time she is vocal is when you don’t dish up her food quick enough. She’s a lap cat and likes to be picked up for a cuddle.

 

Sadly, Sweetie’s early life hasn’t been miserable as this is the second time she has been abandoned by her owner. The first time she was left alone on the street and the second time her guardian took a job abroad which wouldn’t accommodate pets. Can you be her final and furever home to grow with you and your family?

 

Other cats: we have never seen her with another cat but could join a family with other cats providing careful introductions have been carried out.

 

Dogs: we have not seen her with a dog, but careful introductions with a cat-friendly dog would be essential.

 

Kids: Sweetie hasn’t been around children but could join a family who has children that respect boundaries and are gentle with animals.

 

Indoors only – any windows and balconies would need to be fully secured.

 

Sweetie is a year old with an excellent health record, she is FIV/FeLV negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
