Meet Ada — a gentle little muse with a calico coat and a poet’s heart, named after Ada Falcón, the Argentinian tango star known for her quiet grace. Our Ada has that same soft presence about her — elegant, sensitive, and just a touch theatrical in the sweetest possible way. She was rescued from a colony because she was unmistakably a people-cat: endlessly sweet with every person she met, seeking affection and comfort from humans rather than the company of the other cats around her, where she was noticed picking up a fight with every other cat. It was clear she belonged in a home, not a colony.

She moves around the home like a tiny ballerina, all light steps and thoughtful pauses, observing the world with big, expressive eyes. She’s polite, calm and wonderfully easy to live with — the sort of cat who instantly makes a home feel softer.

At night she’s the perfect companion. She sleeps soundly beside her foster mum without ever causing a stir. Instead, she sits quietly watching over her, and the moment she senses she’s awake, Ada climbs onto her chest and starts purring as if to say, “Good morning, the world is safe again.”

She never bites or scratches and has a sweet, delicate way of showing affection. She’s just beginning to explore the idea of play — a gentle beginner — but she’s clever, observant, and learns quickly. She’s also happy to be picked up, provided she knows it comes with a bit of head-kissing affection, which she has now come to expect as part of the deal.

Ada will do amazing in a peaceful home where she can feel secure and adored.
