Astrid is happiest wherever her humans are. She’ll follow you around the house, perch nearby to supervise and curl up on your lap the moment you sit down. She loves joining in on daily life, whether that’s a quiet evening on the sofa or bedtime cuddles under the duvet.

Soft, affectionate and loyal, Astrid is the kind of cat who forms a deep bond with her people. She’s wonderful with children and has a calm, gentle temperament. She can be a little shy with strangers at first, but once she trusts you, she’s all warmth and cuddles.

Astrid’s journey began in Texas, where she was found as a frightened kitten hiding in a car engine. Her rescuers nursed her back to health and she grew into the beautiful, trusting cat she is today. Her family are now relocating to the UK but cannot keep her due to housing restrictions. They are devoted to ensuring she travels safely and finds a home filled with the love she’s always known.
