For adoption anywhere in the UK
Dottie and Bella have grown up together in a safe, quiet foster home, where they have been given the space to be playful, curious and, most importantly, to stay together. Their bond is the foundation of who they are, and it is something that cannot be separated.
Currently living in a multi-cat household, they have been well socialised and are used to being around other cats, while still relying on each other as their constant. Dottie will make you laugh. Bella will make you stop and sit still. Together, they will make your house feel full.
A little glimpse into their world
Their days are a perfect rhythm of chaos and calm.
Dottie is, quite simply, always double busy. If there is something happening, she is already there. If there is nothing happening, she will create something. She is endlessly playful, full of curiosity and completely committed to turning everyday life into a game. Fetch is her favourite, and she will proudly return her toys again and again, expecting you to keep up.
Bella matches her step for step, but brings a softer energy. She plays just as much, but never misses an opportunity to pause for affection. She is the one who will find your lap, settle in without hesitation and begin to purr as though nothing else matters.
Together, they entertain each other beautifully. When the games end, they curl up side by side, completely content in each other’s company.
Their personalities
Dottie is the character. Slightly quirky, endlessly energetic and full of life. Her meow is more of a tiny bark, which somehow suits her perfectly. While she is not overly keen on being held, she is gentle, affectionate in her own way and happiest when close to her people. She will sleep beside you, quietly present after a busy day.
Bella is the cuddle. Confident with her humans, affectionate and expressive. She has a big voice when she wants something, and a soft, squeaky one when she is asking for a cuddle. She loves being held, settles quickly and purrs with real intensity.
A few honest notes
They are still young and full of energy. Dottie in particular can be active at night and in the early morning, especially if she has not fully tired herself out during the day.
Bella, when overstimulated during play, can occasionally use her teeth a little too enthusiastically. It is not aggression, simply part of her learning and something that will continue to improve with the right guidance.
Both girls can be shy with new people and loud environments. When visitors arrive, they may take themselves off to a quiet space until they feel safe again.
Health
No medical issues. Both are healthy, thriving and on a consistent feeding routine.
Their ideal home
Dottie and Bella would suit a calm home with someone who understands kitten energy and the importance of patience while confidence continues to build.
They do not need constant attention, as they are excellent at entertaining each other, but they do need a home that will engage with them, play with them and allow their personalities to flourish.
Children: Unknown. Best suited to older (14+), calm children who understand boundaries
Food
Royal Canin dry kitten food, free-fed
Royal Canin wet kitten food, half a pouch in the evening
Their story
Dottie was found as a tiny kitten, small enough to fit in the palm of a hand. Alone, frightened and unsure of the world, she was brought into safety where she slowly began to find her confidence.
Once she settled, her true personality emerged quickly. She was desperate to play, to connect and to make friends with the older cats in the home. They, understandably, were less enthusiastic about a bouncy kitten with endless energy.
Bella came into her life at just the right moment. While her early story is less clear, it is believed she too was found alone at a very young age. Close in age and similar in spirit, the decision was made to bring them together for companionship and socialisation. From that moment, they chose each other. They have been inseparable ever since.
