Meet Gabbi – The Independent and Playful Kitty

Gabbi is a delightful girl who’s full of personality! She has a unique charm, and though she only has one eye, it doesn’t stop her from being active and curious about the world around her. Gabbi is a bit cautious of strangers at first, but once she gets to know you, she’s sweet and affectionate. She enjoys sitting with her humans and will sometimes curl up in your lap, but she’s not a fan of being held or picked up—she prefers to keep her feet on the ground where she feels safe.

Gabbi is an independent spirit who loves her space, but she’s also very playful, especially with other cats. She gets along well with her foster sibling, and they often have fun together. One of her favourite pastimes is bird watching, and she can spend hours sitting by the window on her scratching post, mesmerised by the birds outside.

When Gabbi first arrived in her foster home, she was quite shy and didn’t get along with the other cats or her humans. Over time, however, she has grown more comfortable and now loves spending time with her foster family. She sleeps at the bottom of the bed, and has started sitting with them on the couch, showing more affection every day. She even has a special way of letting you know when she wants attention—she’ll cry softly to let you know she’s ready for some petting.

Gabbi is still a little wary of new people, but she’s made so much progress and is becoming more confident each day. She enjoys playing with toys and getting gentle attention but prefers to do things on her terms. She’s a low-maintenance cat who thrives in a calm, loving environment where she can relax, enjoy her bird-watching sessions, and simply be herself.

Gabbi is best suited for a family that will respect her boundaries and give her the space she needs while also offering love and patience as she continues to open up. She’s friendly with other cats when introduced properly and would be a great addition to a home with kids aged 12 and up. Gabbi just wants a peaceful, loving home where she can thrive and show her true, affectionate side.
