LUCKY & LOLA

Lucky and Lola are a ready-made little family. Playful, affectionate and completely devoted to one another, these two bring plenty of energy, plenty of personality and, once playtime is over, plenty of cuddles too. They love each other dearly and must be adopted together.

A little about Lucky & Lola

If there is something happening, Lucky will probably be the first one there. He is the more confident and outgoing half of the partnership, while Lola can need a little encouragement before joining in. Give her the time to feel comfortable though and her affectionate side soon appears.

Together, they are playful, friendly and wonderfully sociable. They enjoy being around people and other cats and when they finally run out of energy, they love curling up beside their humans for a cuddle or settling down nearby for a snooze.

Life with Lucky & Lola

These are not two cats planning to spend their entire day elegantly reclining on a windowsill.

Lucky and Lola have a lot of energy and need regular interactive play. Different toys, scratchers and cat trees will help keep them busy and entertained. Their play can sometimes become a little rough, so their future family should be comfortable with lively cats and happy to give them a good outlet for all that enthusiasm.

They are not particularly keen on being held for long periods, although they are comfortable being picked up and can sometimes be lap cats. They much prefer affection on their own terms, including cuddling beside their people and sleeping next to them.

They can also be frightened by loud noises, so having somewhere calm to retreat to when life gets noisy will be important.

No medical conditions have been reported and neither Lucky nor Lola is currently taking medication or following a special diet.

Both are:

• FIV negative

• FeLV negative

Their ideal family

Lucky and Lola would suit a family with some experience of cats and an understanding that energetic young cats need more than a food bowl and a comfy sofa.

Their ideal home will provide plenty of toys, scratching options and cat trees, alongside dedicated playtime and cuddle time every day.

Most importantly, their family must be prepared to welcome both of them. Lucky and Lola adore each other and separating them simply isn't an option.

Kids

Lucky and Lola have been described as friendly around children. As with any adoption, interactions should be respectful and supervised, particularly because the pair can become quite enthusiastic during play.

Indoor/Outdoor? Indoor only. Lucky and Lola are looking for a secure indoor home where they can explore, play and climb safely.

Other cats

Yes. They are very friendly with other cats and have been around approximately six cats in their current environment. A cat-friendly household could therefore suit them well, provided introductions are handled properly.

Dogs

Unknown. They have not been tested around dogs, so we cannot currently confirm whether they would be comfortable living with one.

Food

Both Lucky and Lola have a good appetite and eat wet and dry food. They currently enjoy Royal Canin Hair & Skin, Royal Canin Active and Purina Adult. Lucky is particularly enthusiastic about his food and has a tendency to overeat, so he does best with smaller portions served more frequently.

Rescue Story

Lucky and Lola were rescued from a construction site and have been in their rescuer’s care for around three months, living in an active household alongside other cats. During that time, one thing has become very clear: these two belong together.

Lucky is the confident explorer, Lola takes a little more encouragement and together they make a brilliant team. They play together, seek out human company and settle down for cuddles when their batteries finally run out.

Now they are looking for the next part of their story: a permanent home where there is room for two, plenty to play with and humans who understand that some of the best things really do come in pairs.
