MAGNUS

Magnus is a big, sweet soul who’s been through quite the journey. Found in a colony, he was always the last to eat, letting everyone else go first. He was picked up with a bad chest infection, and with time and care, he recovered well, though he was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis. Despite his gentle nature, Magnus had a hard time finding a foster in Dubai, spending nearly 10 months in a cage until a kind-hearted foster dad took him in.

While he’s made great progress, Magnus is still slow to trust. He’s happy to be gently carried or placed near you but may sometimes return to his chosen “safe space.” Health-wise, he just needs an occasional nose wipe to keep him comfortable. On rare occasions, he might need a quick at-home nebulization, to help clear his nose from mucus, which he’s surprisingly calm about and even seems to enjoy.

Magnus is all about quiet companionship. While he’s not the type to jump into your lap just yet, he’ll follow you around and keep a close watch from a distance, purring nonstop when he’s being petted. His foster dad has noticed Magnus checking out his surroundings at night, gazing thoughtfully out the window and even playing with a few toys when he thinks no one’s watching.

This gentle giant needs a forever home with a patient family who will give him the time and space he needs to blossom. He’s never shown an ounce of aggression, just a shy, loving heart waiting to trust and connect. Magnus would truly appreciate a home where he can settle in slowly, be himself, and, in time, share his gentle love with a family who will cherish him.
