MOLLY

Doesn't ask for much!

2 years old, spayed female

Available

For adoption anywhere in the UK

Molly is a low maintenance cat that will give you plenty of space. She loves to play and entertain herself. When she is comfortable, she will roll around exposing her beautiful tummy from a distance. May need some time to warm up to unfamiliar faces, but once she does, she is eager to call you a new friend.

Her average day begins with letting her foster mummy know it’s time to wake up and have some breakfast followed by some lounging in front of a window where she can observe the world go by! She is at her happiest just hanging out around the house without needing constant attention. Her idea of a perfect playtime is with feathers and toys attached to a string which will also enable Molly to open right up with a gentle touch and some one-on-one time.

Medical history: She’s had several teeth removed at the time of her rescue some due to severe rotting and some were fractured. Molly was born with a congenital eyelid problem which mean they were inwards (bilateral eyelid agenesis with entropion), Surgery on her eyes to rectify this was done in December 2022.

Kids: No, due to her sensitive and shy nature.

Indoor Only

Other cats: No

Dogs: No

Rescue Story:

Molly was rescued from a terrible environment in Dubai living as a stray cat and abused by passers-by and as a result, she remains timid at the first time but will give you all her love once she trusts you at 100%.

She’s been in rehabilitation with a foster; after one month she came out of her shell where she happily entertains herself and meows to communicate with her mommy.

The foster mum has focused on creating a safe environment for her to make sure she feels comfortable and not pestered, the ideal home will appreciate this and must be experienced/ patient with handling shy cat.
