Some kittens take their time deciding who they like. Not Zoe.
This beautiful little tuxedo girl seems to believe strangers are simply friends she hasn’t introduced herself to yet. Whether they have two legs or four, Zoe’s first instinct is to wander over, say hello and see if they’d like to be friends.
Confident, curious and endlessly affectionate, Zoe has the wonderful ability to make herself at home almost anywhere. Whether she’s supervising your morning routine, chasing toys around the house or curling up beside you for a cuddle, she simply loves being part of family life. She isn’t a kitten who watches from the sidelines. She wants to know what you’re doing and whether she can join in.
Her foster describes her in three words: confident, curious and loving. We’d struggle to improve on that.
A Little Social Butterfly
Perhaps Zoe’s greatest superpower is making friends.
In just two weeks of foster care, she’s already won over two resident cats, started building a lovely friendship with the family’s dog and charmed every human she’s met. She approaches everyone with confidence and curiosity, making introductions look remarkably easy.
She’s equally affectionate with people. Zoe enjoys being picked up, loves a cuddle, happily settles on laps and is wonderfully easy to handle for such a young kitten. Nail trims don’t bother her, new experiences don’t faze her and she takes life’s little surprises in her stride.
She’s playful without being rough, gentle with those around her and always keen to be part of whatever is happening.
A Few Zoe-isms
Like every kitten, Zoe has a few opinions. She’s convinced bedtime should be negotiable and will happily let you know she’d much rather stay wherever the family is than retire for the evening. Once everyone settles down, however, she sleeps peacefully through the night.
She’s also an enthusiastic breakfast supervisor and firmly believes meals should always arrive on time.
Health
Zoe has been fully veterinary checked, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She has been given a clean bill of health and is ready to begin the next chapter of her life.
Her Ideal Home
Zoe is looking for a family who will embrace her curious, affectionate nature and welcome her as a true member of the household. She isn’t a kitten who prefers to hide away. She wants to know what you’re doing, whether she can help and, ideally, whether she can come too.
One of Zoe’s biggest strengths is just how adaptable she is. In a short space of time, she has settled beautifully alongside two resident cats and has also begun building a lovely friendship with the family’s dog. She approaches both with confidence, curiosity and excellent manners, making her an excellent choice for homes with existing pets.
She would happily join:
A home with another friendly, playful cat.
A home with both cats and a calm, cat-friendly dog.
A family looking for a sociable companion who enjoys being involved in everyday life.
As with all young kittens, we would ideally like Zoe to have a feline companion, either by being adopted alongside another kitten or joining a home with an existing young, playful cat.
Children: Yes, respectful children.
Indoor home: Strictly indoor home only.
Other cats: Yes. Zoe has settled beautifully alongside the foster’s resident cats and enjoys feline company.
Dogs: Yes. Zoe has already shown she can happily live alongside a calm, cat-friendly dog, making her an excellent option for families looking to introduce a kitten into an existing multi-pet household.
Food: Zoe currently enjoys kitten wet food morning and evening, with a small amount of kitten kibble during the day.
Rescue Story
Some cats are rescued. Zoe rescued herself.
During the height of the Dubai summer, a tiny black-and-white kitten appeared in her rescuer’s neighbourhood. Barely a few months old, she was trying to survive amongst much larger stray cats and had already picked up scratches from being bullied.
She was small, vulnerable and alone. But instead of hiding from people, Zoe walked straight towards them.
She followed her rescuer, asked for attention and quietly made it clear she wanted help. Despite everything she’d experienced, she hadn’t lost her trust in people.
That simple decision changed her life.
Since her rescue, Zoe has received everything she needed to start again. She recovered quickly and the confident, affectionate kitten she had always been was finally able to shine through. Today, she spends her days making friends, playing, cuddling and reminding everyone she meets that difficult beginnings do not define a lifetime.
Now all that’s missing is a family of her own. A family who will love her, protect her and make sure she never has to wonder where she belongs again.
