Chocolate's story

Meet Chocolate. Former Food Security Officer, retired mother of six and now, for the first time in a long while, a cat whose only responsibility is enjoying the comforts of home.

Chocolate was found abandoned whilst heavily pregnant and rescued just before giving birth. Despite everything she had been through, she remained gentle, loving and devoted to her kittens, raising all six beautifully before they eventually found homes of their own.

Now, at long last, it is Chocolate’s turn.

What your gift covers

Every gift to this appeal goes to Chocolate and this need. If the appeal is already fully funded when your gift arrives, it goes to the open appeal furthest from its goal. Funds are raised and held in the UK and paid directly to vets, travel agents and suppliers against their invoices. Stripe, our payment provider, takes a small processing fee on each card payment; that's the only deduction.
