APPLE
Sweet as an Apple, Kind to the Core
2 years old, Spayed, Female
Available
For adoption anywhere in the UK
Some cats take weeks to warm to a stranger. Apple takes about a minute. This two year old Arabian Mau, named for her pretty tricolour coat, greets the world with an open heart and a gentle manner, and she makes friends wherever she goes.
For two years she lived outdoors as part of a cared for colony, always the first to come forward for a kind word or a stroke. Now she is ready to trade the waiting for something far better: a home and a family to call her own.
Apple is kindness in cat form. Affectionate, relaxed and wonderfully easy to love, she is the sort of cat who makes a house feel warmer simply by being in it.
A Bit About Apple
Wherever her humans are, Apple wants to be too. She follows you from room to room, claims the nearest lap and settles in for as long as you will let her. Ask her to choose between a person and almost anything else, and the person wins every time.
She is also one of those rare cats who is perfectly happy to be scooped up. Pick her up, carry her about the house, and she simply goes along with it, calm, trusting and quite unbothered.
Her affection comes with just one small preference: she would rather keep her tummy to herself. Strokes anywhere else are received with great pleasure.
Not every moment is about cuddles, though. Apple has a spirited, independent streak, and an interactive toy can keep her happily occupied on her own. Equal parts lap companion and self sufficient entertainer, she is a genuine joy to live with.
Her Favourite Things
Her people, first and foremost. A lap, a gentle hand and the company of the humans she loves are what make Apple’s world go round.
After that, it is playtime. Interactive toys bring out her lively side, and she can amuse herself with them for a good while. Food is no drama either: she is not fussy and tucks into whatever lands in her bowl.
Things to Consider
Apple prefers not to have her tummy touched. Respect that small wish and she will reward you with affection everywhere else.
She thrives on human company, so a household where people are around for much of the day suits her well. There are no big fears or triggers to work around; she is calm, adaptable and takes life as it comes.
She would be happiest as the only cat.
Medical Information
Apple is in good health. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed and fully vaccinated, and she has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
No medication, no special diet, and her litter box habits are faultless.

Rescue Story
Apple spent a year as part of a colony, cared for outdoors. Even among the other cats she stood out: super friendly, always ready to come forward and always hoping for a little more human company.
When the time came for her to be spayed through a trap, neuter and return programme, the plan was to take her back to the colony afterwards. Her nature changed that plan. Apple had found where she belonged, and she stayed.
